PRM5-ZBS is a ZigBee Power Meter plus Relay Switch, allowing users to remotely control lights and electronic appliances as well as monitoring power consumption at the same time. As PRM5-ZBS is directly connected to power cables, it comes with embedded terminal wires and splicing connectors to prevent shorts and electrocution during installation. The PRM5-ZBSR also functions as a ZigBee repeater to further extend wireless communication range.

PRM5-ZBS’s small and compact profile provides the flexibility to be installed in wall switch boxes, ceilings, or any location in users’ homes. The built-in power meter enables PRM5-ZBS to measure electricity consumption and generate energy history over days, weeks, and months. When integrated into a security and home automation system, PRM5-ZBS can automatically turn on/off lights according to schedules, scenes, and timer settings. Remotely controlling lights and appliances even when users are away not only offers an easy, convenient, and safe way of managing users’ home environments, but also ensures the safety of the houses.
